Agency Approvals
NSF - NSF International (formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation) is an independent, non-profit organization that certifies food service equipment and ensures it is designed and constructed in a way that promotes food safety. FWE products that meet these standards bear the NSF mark.
You may also see a designation that a product meets NSF/ANSI, which adds rules from the American National Standards Institute to the testing. ANSI works closely with NSF to develop its food safety standards and complete testing to those.
Bumpers
Full Bumper - Heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection. The bumper is mounted to the base frame for added durability - the bumper is not used as the base frame. In this way, the bumper absorbs all the shock in transport, protecting the integrity of the construction.
Top Bumper - Top mounted heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection during transport.

5" Casters - 5" Heavy-duty casters - polyurethane casters are long lasting and used for easy maneuverability, even when fully loaded
EZ Roll Heavy Duty Poly Caster - The EZ Roll Casters are standard on FWE cabinets and provide moderate floor protection with a high weight capacity.
EZ roll casters are shock absorbing and roll easier under heavy loads.

Caster
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.

LONG FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. ETC-1314-80, Stacking Prisoner Tray Server.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of 18 gauge stainless steel. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1 square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners and fittings.

HANDLES. Heavy-duty, 1" diameter tubular stainless steel push handles, mounted on each end of the unit.

SUPER-DUTY BUMPER. Solid, 1.5" high, wraparound aluminum channel, bolted to frame, with snap-in, non-marking replaceable vinyl cushion. Full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors, handles, etc., for added protection. Shall be continuous, with corner cutouts to facilitate cleaning. Super-Duty Bumper shall be made of thicker 0.25" aluminum and be wider at 4.875"

DOORS AND LATCHES. Each stainless steel, insulated door shall have three (3) heavy-duty, 12 gauge stainless steel hinges. Each door
shall be equipped with a positive closing, flush-in-door, stainless steel paddle latch. The hinge and latch mountings are reinforced with stainless steel backing plates. Each door shall be provided with padlock compatible transport/security latch (padlock not included).

CASTERS. Maintenance free, Multi-Terrain casters with sealed precision ball bearing, in a configuration of two (2) rigid and four (4) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded-in-place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

PITCHED DRAIN. Pitched center drain with plug to facilitate thorough cleaning of interior. Models shall have one (1) drain per door.

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
