Construction & Durability

Constructed with heliarc welded stainless steel and a heavy-duty tubular welded base frame, the ETC-1826-INS Series is built to withstand the rigors of daily commercial use. Features such as high-density fiberglass insulation, reinforced stress plates, and stainless steel rack assemblies provide long-lasting durability, easy cleaning, and dependable performance.

ETC-1826-19INS - Insulated Enclosed Transport Cabinet (19 Tray Capacity)
The ETC-1826-19INS is a high-capacity insulated transport cabinet, capable of holding up to 19 trays or sheet pans (18" x 26" or 14" x 18") while ensuring optimal temperature retention for both hot and cold food products. Built with heavy-duty stainless steel construction, high-density fiberglass insulation, and a full-perimeter bumper, it provides secure, efficient, and damage-resistant transport for catering, banquet service, and institutional food delivery.

Agency Approvals
UL EPH - UL EPH recognizes products certified to meet environmental and public health standards. The UL EPH logo shows the word "Classified" above the UL mark, which indicates that the product complies with ANSI/NSF standards, in addition to other applicable codes.
NSF - NSF International (formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation) is an independent, non-profit organization that certifies food service equipment and ensures it is designed and constructed in a way that promotes food safety. FWE products that meet these standards bear the NSF mark.
You may also see a designation that a product meets NSF/ANSI, which adds rules from the American National Standards Institute to the testing. ANSI works closely with NSF to develop its food safety standards and complete testing to those.
Bumpers
Full Bumper - Heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection. The bumper is mounted to the base frame for added durability - the bumper is not used as the base frame. In this way, the bumper absorbs all the shock in transport, protecting the integrity of the construction.

5" Casters - 5" Heavy-duty casters - polyurethane casters are long lasting and used for easy maneuverability, even when fully loaded
EZ Roll Heavy Duty Poly Caster - The EZ Roll Casters are standard on FWE cabinets and provide moderate floor protection with a high weight capacity.
EZ roll casters are shock absorbing and roll easier under heavy loads.

Top Corner Bumpers - Top corner bumpers are a good option for those customers not needing the protection of a full bumper, but still require protection for walls and surrounding equipment.

Larger & Upgraded Casters - Larger Casters
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.

LONG FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. ETC-1826-19INS, Insulated Enclosed Transport Cabinets.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of 18 gauge stainless steel; Welded tubular base frame shall be 1" square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners and fittings.

INSULATION. "Ultra-Guard" UG-26 high density fiberglass insulation throughout; top, back, bottom, sides, and door(s).

HANDLES. Heavy-duty, 1 diameter tubular stainless steel push bar handles mounted at each end of the unit. ETC-1826-7INS model shall have recessed handles.

BUMPERS. Solid 1.5 wide continuous wraparound aluminum channel, bolted to frame with snap-in, non-marking vinyl cushion. Full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors, handles, etc., for added protection. Shall be continuous, with corner cut-outs to facilitate cleaning. ETC-1826-7INS is standard without a bumper.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted, stainless steel insulated doors. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Each door shall have two (2) heavy-duty edgemount die cast hinges. Door latch shall be edgemounted, full grip, and positive closing. The hinge and latch mountings are reinforced with stainless steel backing plates.

CASTERS. Maintenance free polyurethane tire casters in a configuration of two (2) rigid and two (2) swivel with brake. ETC-1826-30INS shall have a caster configuration of two (2) rigid, four (4) swivel with brake. ETC-1826-7INS shall have a caster configuration of four (4) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

FIXED RACK. Removable pair of one piece stainless steel racks with fixed spacing of 3" between pan slides. Each pan slide accommodates one (1) 18" x 26" or two (2) 14" x 18". One piece rack is easy to remove without the use of tools for cleaning

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
