FWE ETC-UA Series Universal Enclosed Transport Cabinets

The FWE ETC-UA Series Enclosed Transport Cabinets are designed to store and transport a wide variety of trays and pans while helping operators maintain organization, efficiency, and protection during transport. Engineered for catering, institutional dining, and commercial kitchens, this solution combines universal tray compatibility with durable stainless steel construction to improve workflow, flexibility, and overall performance.

Construction & Durability

Constructed with heliarc welded stainless steel and a heavy-duty tubular welded base frame, the ETC-UA Series is built to withstand the rigors of daily commercial use. Features such as reinforced stress plates, adjustable tray slide uprights, and insulated door systems ensure long-lasting durability, easy cleaning, and dependable performance.

ETC-UA-7 - Non-Insulated Universal Tray Transport Cabinet (7 Tray Capacity)
The ETC-UA-7 is a lightweight and durable transport cabinet, designed to hold up to 7 trays (18" x 26", 14" x 18", or GN containers). With stainless steel construction, a welded tubular base frame, and adjustable universal tray slides, it ensures secure tray handling and easy access. Featuring a 180° swing stainless steel door and heavy-duty polyurethane casters, this unit is ideal for institutional foodservice, catering, and bulk tray distribution where temperature retention is not required.

Agency Approvals
UL EPH - UL EPH recognizes products certified to meet environmental and public health standards. The UL EPH logo shows the word "Classified" above the UL mark, which indicates that the product complies with ANSI/NSF standards, in addition to other applicable codes.
Bumpers
Full Bumper - Heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection. The bumper is mounted to the base frame for added durability - the bumper is not used as the base frame. In this way, the bumper absorbs all the shock in transport, protecting the integrity of the construction.

EZ Roll Heavy Duty Poly Caster - The EZ Roll Casters are standard on FWE cabinets and provide moderate floor protection with a high weight capacity.
EZ roll casters are shock absorbing and roll easier under heavy loads.

Bumpers
Top Corner Bumpers - Top corner bumpers are a good option for those customers not needing the protection of a full bumper, but still require protection for walls and surrounding equipment.
Caster
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.
Center Floor Lock - Undercarriage lock-down keeps mobile equipment securely in place by gently lifting the unit high enough so the casters do not touch the ground.
Must be used with 6" casters.

LONG FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. ETC-UA-7, Enclosed Transport Cabinets.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 20 gauge polished exterior, 22 gauge stainless steel interior with easy-to-clean coved corners. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1 square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners.

HANDLES. Heavy-duty, 1 diameter tubular stainless steel push handles mounted at each end of the unit. ETC-UA-5 model shall have recessed handles.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted,stainless steel insulated doors. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Each door shall have two (2) heavy-duty edgemount die cast hinges. Door latch shall be edgemounted, full grip, and positive closing. The hinge and latch mountings are reinforced with stainless steel backing plates.

CASTERS. Maintenance free polyurethane tire casters in a configuration of two (2) rigidand two (2) swivel with brake. ETC-UA-14 and ETC-UA-22 shall have a caster configuration of two (2) rigid, four (4) swivel with brake. ETC-UA-5 model shall have a caster configuration of four (4) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

TRAY SLIDES. Welded rod-style tray slides are nickel plated for greater durability and sanitation. Fully adjustable / removable and designed to give secure bottom tray support. Removable stainless steel uprights shall be punched on 1.5 centers for easy tray adjustment, and shall easily lift off of heavy-duty stainless steel brackets without the use of tools for cleaning.

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
