The FWE HLC-W-DRN Series Tray Line Serving Wells are designed to hold and serve hot food while helping operators maintain consistent temperature and product quality using water-based heat. Engineered for cafeterias, institutional dining, and mobile foodservice, this solution combines wet well technology with an open storage base to improve efficiency, flexibility, and overall performance.

5" Casters - 5" Heavy-duty casters - polyurethane casters are long lasting and used for easy maneuverability, even when fully loaded
6 Caster Configuration - 6 caster configuration increases the cabinets maneuverability, ideal for larger cabinets
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.
EZ Roll Heavy Duty Poly Caster - The EZ Roll Casters are standard on FWE cabinets and provide moderate floor protection with a high weight capacity.
EZ roll casters are shock absorbing and roll easier under heavy loads.

Bumpers
Top Corner Bumpers - Top corner bumpers are a good option for those customers not needing the protection of a full bumper, but still require protection for walls and surrounding equipment.
Full Bumper - Heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection. The bumper is mounted to the base frame for added durability - the bumper is not used as the base frame. In this way, the bumper absorbs all the shock in transport, protecting the integrity of the construction.
Caster
Master Caster - The Master caster is the best all-around caster for FWE products. Having the highest load bearing weight the Master Caster can handle any piece of FWE product. With easy maneuverability and silent rolling, the Master Caster will not stop when there is a small obstruction or uneven terrain. The Master Caster is also resistant to corrosion from chemicals, water, and steam.

LONG FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. HLC-6W6-1-DRN, Tray Line Serving Wells.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 18 gauge polished exterior, 22 gauge stainless steel interior. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1" square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plates at corners.

CASTERS. Maintenance free polyurethane tire casters in a configuration of six (6) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

TOP MOUNT SERVING WELLS. Each well shall be one piece stainless steel, deep drawn with coved corners. Each well shall have ridge around top perimeter. Each insulated, individually thermo wrapped well shall have a separate adjustable thermostat and indicating light. Top well depth of 6.5" (165mm) is designed to be used wet. Accommodates up to a 12" x 20" x 6" or a GN 1/1.

DRAIN. Each heated well connects to built-in drain system with easy access external 3/4" solder joint shut-off valve.

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS. 3 wire grounded tri-directional power cord and plug, rear mounted for safety. See electrical data chart above for amperage and receptacle configuration. See electrical chart for models that require a dedicated circuit.

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
