The FWE TST-SL Series Top Mount Heated Holding Cabinets are designed to provide versatile, high-capacity heated holding within a compact, shallow-depth footprint. Ideal for restaurants, cafeterias, healthcare facilities, schools, catering operations, and institutional foodservice environments, these cabinets combine flexible tray and shelf configurations with reliable top-mounted heating performance.

Product Overview

Built around FWE's Top Mount heating technology, the TST-SL Series circulates heated air evenly throughout the cabinet to maintain consistent food temperatures and eliminate hot and cold spots. The cabinet's shallow 23" depth maximizes space efficiency while providing flexible storage for trays, shelves, containers, pans, and plated meals.

Construction & Durability

Constructed with heliarc welded stainless steel, reinforced tubular framing, ceramic and fiberglass insulation, self-closing insulated doors, heavy-duty hinges, and commercial-grade caster systems, the TST-SL Series is engineered for durability and long-term performance in demanding foodservice environments.

FEATURES

Agency Approvals
CE - The CE mark is mandatory for products sold in the European Economic Area. It indicates the product conforms with certain manufacturing and design safety requirements. CE is similar to UL except it's more of a declaration by the manufacturer that the product meets the relevant rules, rather than being the mark of independent testing.
UL - The UL mark, which now serves customers in more than 100 countries, has become the authority on product safety. Its engineers test for things like soundness of design, safety of electrical components, and structural integrity of products for which UL listing is sought.
If you think of NSF International classification as protection for your customers, then the mark of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) indicates safety for those who work in your commercial kitchen. The Illinois-based testing agency assures that the equipment that gets its stamp operates safely. There is also a sanitation classification that offers similar assurances about food safety as the NSF mark. Products are indicated as "Classified UL-EPH."
UL EPH - UL EPH recognizes products certified to meet environmental and public health standards. The UL EPH logo shows the word "Classified" above the UL mark, which indicates that the product complies with ANSI/NSF standards, in addition to other applicable codes.

2" Casters - 2" Heavy-duty casters - polyurethane casters are long lasting and used for easy maneuverability, even when fully loaded
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.

LONG FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. TST-7SL, Heated Holding Cabinets.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 20 gauge polished exterior, 22 gauge stainless steel interior with easy-to-clean coved corners. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1" square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners.

INSULATION. Insulated throughout; top, back, bottom, sides, doors using high density ceramic and fiberglass insulation.

HANDLES. Form grip flush-in-wall hand grips recess mounted on each side of unit.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted, stainless steel insulated doors shall be selfclosing and field reversible. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Magnetic work flow door handle shall be full length, vertical, and positive closing. TST-7SL is standard with horizontal work flow handle. Each door shall have two (2) heavyduty edgemount die cast hinges. TST-22SL shall be standard with dutch doors. Dutch door: two (2) half size doors.

CASTERS. TST-22SL shall have 5" Polyurethane tire non-marking casters. TST-7SL shall have 2" TPR tire non-marking casters. Casters shall be in a configuration of four (4) swivel with brake. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit

TRAY SLIDES. Stainless steel tray slides are fully adjustable / removable and designed to give secure bottom tray support. Removable stainless steel uprights shall be punched on 2.5" (63.5mm) spacing for easy tray/ pan adjustment, and shall easily lift off of heavy-duty, stainless steel brackets without the use of tools. Each pair of tray slides shall accommodate: one (1) 18" x 26" tray or one (1) 18" x 26" wire shelf.

HEATING SYSTEM/CONTROLS. Top mounted, forced air blower system shall include Hi-Temp, self-lubricated, impedance protected, fan-cooled blower motor to distribute heat equally throughout cabinet interior with distribution tunnels shall be vented for balanced air circulation. Electronic controls shall include an easy to read digital display of cabinet temperature (with recall capacity of temperature set point and actual cabinet temperature), equipped with a programmable low temperature alarm, master ON/OFF switch with power indicator light. Adjustable temperature range from 90°F to 190°F (32°C to 88°C).

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS. 3 wire grounded tri-directional power cord and plug, rear mounted for safety. See electrical data chart above for amperage and receptacle configuration. See electrical chart for models that require a dedicated circuit.

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
