Everyone here at FWE is delighted to announce that we are joining the Hatco Corporation Family!
This acquisition by the Hatco Corporation, based out of Milwaukee, WI, will not only allow us to continue to operate as FWE but will also create an opportunity for increased innovation.
From our inception as a company in 1953, FWE has strived to be an industry leader in quality, reliability, customer service, and innovation. During those almost 70 years in business, we have endeavored to always remember these core values that this company was founded upon. This new partnership with Hatco guarantees that our commitment to these core values will not waver. Joining the Hatco umbrella of companies will ensure innovation like never before from FWE. We foresee a sharing of ideas from not only our parent company, Hatco, but also with other companies under their umbrella which includes ADM, American Range, and Ovention.
Speaking of this acquisition, Hatco President Lorne Deacon said:
“Like Hatco, FWE has been serving its customers for close to 70 years. Their product quality, combined with their ability to customize their offerings to meet their customers’ needs, is exceptional. All of which is backed by FWE’s high level of customer service, making FWE an incredible company that aligns with Hatco and our KYSO (Knock Your Socks Off) Customer Service. This strategic acquisition strengthens Hatco’s offerings in multiple industry segments, and we are excited about our strong future together!”

With this merger, we would also like to announce that previous owner Deron Lichte will be leaving the company after 28 years of ownership. Under his stewardship, FWE has grown to be the industry leader that it is today and we would like to thank him for his invaluable leadership. During these years Deron has been both a leader and mentor to many within FWE and we would all like to wish him all the best during his well-deserved retirement.
